JEE Main 2018 Correction Process is Closed Now

Joint Entrance examination is conducted for admission into various IIITs, IITs, NITs and CFTs for B.E./B.Tech and B.Arch/B.Plan courses. JEE Main is conducted in online and offline mode. The correction facility is only one time opportunity given to the candidates, so candidates need to correct their details carefully.

JEE Main 2018 offline exam has been conducted on 08 April 2018 and the online exam has been conducted on 15th & 16th April 2018.

JEE Main 2018 Form Correction Dates

Correction in application form had been started from 9th January 2018 to 22th January 2018. CBSE clearly mentioned in their information brochure that change from online to  offline examination was not allowed. JEE Main 2018 Correction in uploaded images has been started from 8th December 2017 and the process is over now, that mean candidates can not changed their uploaded images. Candidates can check it from the official website then  those (candidates) who have done mistakes in their application form will able to correct their particulars details.

Candidates could correct their particular details from the application form which they entered wrong mistakenly while filling JEE Main Application Form. Candidates were only eligible to correct particular details once they had completed all the steps and have successfully and completed the payment process. Candidates were able to edit their personal details including the scanned copy of passport size photographs and signature. Candidates who had applied for online mode of examination and want to change it to offline mode, then it is not allowed. They can not change their exam mode.

JEE Main 2018 Application Form

CBSE had released the information bulletin on 22nd November 2017. JEE Main 2018 Application process had begun from 01st December 2017 and the last date of application form submission was 01st January 2018. It was advised to all the candidates to make sure that they had registered their details correctly because incorrect information in the application form might lead to disqualification of their candidature. Application form could only be filled online. Correction window was available for correction on the official website from 9th January 2018 to 22nd January 2018.

The candidates could able to edit their examination centers. It was the only one time opportunity to correct their details on the application form. It had been advised to all the candidates to make sure that as they have the last chance, so all the information entered should be right. After saving the changes, you could not able to make any change again.

JEE Main 2018 Form Correction Process

Follow the listed instructions one by one used to correct JEE Main 2018 Application Form:

  • Candidates were asked to go to the official website (
  • Login with their application number and password.
  • Enter the details which were displayed once they loged in.
  • Then candidates could find an edit link for application form.
  • Then they had to go through the application form carefully and start correcting the wrong details.
  • Once they were done with it, they were asked to check and recheck all the edited details.
  • And then they were finally asked Submit.
